Anomalie to play Cluny 2 as part of UK tour

1 min read

Anomalie is the live electronic project of Nicolas Dupuis, a classically trained and highly versatile keyboardist and producer based in Montreal.

Anomalie made his debut on Gramatik’s Lowtemp label with his single “Odyssée” in April of 2016. After playing as Gramatik’s keyboard player on his “Epigram” live tour for a year, he soon after released his debut EP, Métropole, which garnered close to 4m hits through performance videos of the tracks and streaming platforms.

Building off his growing worldwide fanbase, Anomalie is now touring worldwide with ‘Anomalie Live,’ a 4-piece live band where his music comes to life on stage with energy-driven arrangements and original interpretations of his recorded music.

For Dupuis, music has been in his blood since early age, leading to more than 17 years of experience studying classical and jazz piano performance. This led him to become the first person to be awarded the Yannick Nézet-Séguin (Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestre Métropolitain, Rotterdams Philharmonisch) excellence grant in 2012.
